The Makita 4-5/8 Inch aluminum groove cutter is useful for cutting grooves in aluminum composite materials. Variable speed dial enables the user to choose the operating speed from 2200 to 6400 RPM depending upon the applications. Depth adjustment dial is provided that enables the user to make multiple cutting stops at 3 mm, 4 mm and 6 mm. Guide rail system communicates with the saw base to obtain precise straight grooves. Electronic controller gives more power to the motor in order to maintain a uniform speed even under constant load. Soft start mechanism allows the user to initiate the tool easily for longevity. Cutter is made from sturdy and robust magnesium components and the lightweight design makes it easy to use. The 11/16 Inch cutting edge enhances the accuracy of the application. Swiveling dust port is integrated into the tool for smooth maneuverability when attached to the vacuum hose. Mechanical brake ensures the productivity of the tool is always at the maximum. Plunge release lever ensures good operational comfort. Blade wrench can be connected to the saw to enable smooth blade changes and installation. Handle has a rubberized grip that reduces vibration and provides good comfort. When used with the appropriate blade, this cutter has the capacity to cut 90 degree and 135 degree grooves. Cutter comes with a CT saw blade and a hex wrench.
